Fights High Blood Pressure and Heart Disease – New Improved Formula
This highly effective combination has been formulated to help individuals suffering from hypertension (high blood pressure), senile heart (weakness of the heart in the elderly), palpitations, angina, and arrhythmia. It is also useful in cases of elevated cholesterol levels and atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries). The ingredients have hundreds of years of traditional use behind them. Modern clinical and laboratory work confirms that they effectively promote cardiovascular health.
This combination is used primarily:
• To support heart health
• To improve blood flow
• Adjunctively with drug treatment or lifestyle changes to treat mild to moderate high blood pressure
• For chronic congestive heart failure and declining cardiac performance including fatigue, palpitations, shortness of breath or angina pain associated with ordinary physical activity (Functional Capacity Class II as defined by the New York Heart Association)
• Adjunctively with drug treatment or lifestyle changes to treat mild to moderate high cholesterol levels and atherosclerosis
Combinations to consider: If a diuretic is needed, Dandelion Single Tincture is an excellent choice. In the case of elevated cholesterol, add Globe Artichoke Single Tincture or Kolesist to stimulate bile flow. Extra fiber (see our BulkLax™) is also an effective measure for reducing cholesterol and triglycerides.
Administration: (adults) take 30-60 drops (1-2 ml) 3X daily in a little water, between meals.
Contra-indications and Cautions:
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking prescription medications or have been diagnosed with a medical condition. Consult a health care practitioner immediately if pain occurs in the region of the heart, spreading out to the arms, upper abdomen or neck area, or in cases of respiratory distress. Do not take this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not take this product if you have gastric or duodenal ulcers, a clotting disorder, or if you are taking anticoagulants, aspirin, or digoxin. Not for use following hemorrhagic stroke. Reduce dosage or discontinue use if you experience a hypersensitivity reaction

A NOTE ON TINCTURES
Tinctures are more readily absorbed by the body and have a high degree of bio-availability. As well, they have a long shelf life.
Sometimes people ask us why tinctures are alcohol-based. There are very good reasons. Alcohol is critically important in the extraction of an herb's medicinal ingredients. It also helps to stabilize and preserve them. Alcohol is the ideal carrier substance, conveying the therapeutic goodness of the herb to the body. In itself, too, science has proven that alcohol enhances the immune system and its defences.
As for the amount of alcohol taken in an average dose of tincture, you'll be surprised to learn that it's about the same as what you'd find in an overly ripe banana!
