Clear River Cleanse® holds an important place as an alterative formula to support detoxification. Alteratives are that class of herbal medicines that alter the metabolic processes, enabling tissues to deal properly with nutrition and eliminative functions, gradually ridding the body of waste tissue.
Clear River Cleanse® is an exceptional natural formula consisting of twelve herbs carefully chosen to tone and detoxify the whole system.
By addressing a number of channels for detoxification, Clear River Cleanse® creates a whole-body cleansing effect. It is especially beneficial if employed in conjunction with a detoxification diet as well as cleansing therapies such as hydrotherapy and colonic therapy.

Administration: (adults) take 30-60 drops (1-2 ml) 3X daily in a little water, on an empty stomach.
Contra-indications and Cautions: Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have been diagnosed with a medical condition or if you are taking prescription medications. Do not take this product if you have an allergy to the Asteraceae or Umbelliferae family. Do not give to small children or newborns. Do not take this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Reduce dosage or discontinue use if you experience a hypersensitivity reaction, diarrhoea or watery stools.

A NOTE ON TINCTURES
Tinctures are more readily absorbed by the body and have a high degree of bio-availability. As well, they have a long shelf life.
Sometimes people ask us why tinctures are alcohol-based. There are very good reasons. Alcohol is critically important in the extraction of an herb's medicinal ingredients. It also helps to stabilize and preserve them. Alcohol is the ideal carrier substance, conveying the therapeutic goodness of the herb to the body. In itself, too, science has proven that alcohol enhances the immune system and its defences.
As for the amount of alcohol taken in an average dose of tincture, you'll be surprised to learn that it's about the same as what you'd find in an overly ripe banana!
