EchinaSeal® is a combination well loved by thousands and thousands of users and practitioners, because it works. Its bitter taste is its distinctive signature, a time-tested warrant of its outstanding effectiveness. When you suffer with upper respiratory infections of either a viral or a bacterial nature, reach for EchinaSeal®. EchinaSeal® is especially potent for bacterial infections, but when used at the first signs of a cold or flu, it will often nip these in the bud.
The ingredients in this formula have years of traditional use behind them. A tremendous amount of modern clinical and laboratory work confirms that they are especially effective for treating upper respiratory tract and bacterial infections. The anti-infective properties of each herb are improved by their synergistic dynamics. Echinacea is the infection fighter par excellence; its benefits escalate by combining it with the other herbs in this formula. Goldenseal, myrrh and propolis are all anti-infective. Propolis has the added benefit of analgesia, thus its utility for easing the pain of sore throats. Wild indigo, anti-infective in its own right, makes echinacea work better, while cayenne makes everything work better.
Other combinations to consider: Use in combination with Respirafect™ (Usnea Combo) for lung infections or with Uritrin™ (Golden Rod Combo) for urinary tract infections or Sinafect™ (Elder Combo) for sinus infections. For longer-term immune support, consider our Deep Immune® formula.
Administration
Take 1-2 ml (30-60 drops) three-six times daily in a little water on an empty stomach; may be gargled before swallowing.
Contra-indications and Cautions:
Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have been diagnosed with a medical condition or if you are taking prescription medications. If symptoms persist, consult a health care practitioner. Do not use this product if you have an allergy to bees or bee stings or to the Asteraceae family of plants.

A Note On Tinctures
Tinctures are more readily absorbed by the body and have a high degree of bio-availability. As well, they have a long shelf life.
Sometimes people ask us why tinctures are alcohol-based. There are very good reasons. Alcohol is critically important in the extraction of an herb's medicinal ingredients. It also helps to stabilize and preserve them. Alcohol is the ideal carrier substance, conveying the therapeutic goodness of the herb to the body. In itself, too, science has proven that alcohol enhances the immune system and its defences
As for the amount of alcohol taken in an average dose of tincture, you'll be surprised to learn that it's about the same as what you'd find in an overly ripe banana!
